I read the 3 books in this series and while there was a good foundation with new ideas, it lacked any real depth. There was very little world or personality building. We were told that Arianna is wonderful, powerful, strong, and amazing- but we were never really shown anything so awe inspiring. There was no reason for the amount of loyalty she got from the clans, no reason for their unadulterated love and respect. She basically slept for 3 books, them sort of trained to fight a battle that she never actually fights in. One minute she's head over heels for one guy, then for another with no actual bonding or feelings expressed. We're just told she's now in love with the other guy. I was really hoping that book 3 would have some wow factor, but it just never really did. Interesting concept, but no follow through. I'm not interested in the story enough to follow up on Devin's future. Just an "okay" read for me.

I really enjoyed this trilogy, the characters were fun and at times hilarious! Arianna has to show everyone who is boss and that it's a woman to boot, some of the "old bosses" don't like that. I don't know yet if I will go on to the story about Devin (the day human prince) I liked that character but he is so hot and cold I'm thinking that would get very boring very quickly (it did in the beginning of the blue eyes trilogy with him and Arianna) so for now I say this was a good read and I may check out other books from this Author just maybe not the ones about Devin.
Well, Ms Kristen, you did it again! Great story plot and new twists and turns. So much happened that was unexpected. Coming up with new traditions and merging them with the old ones were are all familiar with kept me turning the page until my eyes blurred and I had to sleep for awhile until I could continue. I'm on my way right now to the next series, The Day Prince, and I hope to meet not only new characters but also reunite with familiar ones! Keep up the great work!
I loved the take on vampires and werewolves in this serious with much much more added. There were so many unexpected twists but it just made the books that much better! The only thing that I really didn't like was who Arianna ended up with in the end. I was hoping something would happen to Andrew and she could be with Devin,but that didn't happen. I just feel like it would have been better if in the end, she ended up with Devin. Just my personal opinion though. Maybe the new series with him will change my mind.

Anyways, all in all, a must read!
I was one of those people that hated Twilight.... shimmery vampires? come on! This series, hands down, is 100% better than Twilight, in my opinion.

I LOVED this series!!! It was funny and witty with an adorable romantic plot that is full of mystery and awesome action scenes. I love the ALL the night human races. This book is not your average vampire book at all! ) This book picks up where the last one left off, with the competition looming. Leaders fighting for Arrianna's hand in marriage.
Also in this book we get to see the rest of the Legend and what Arrianna decides to do .... and I LOVED the relationship between Arrianna and Andrew!!!! You can really feel the connection they have ... and it is so freakin cute!!!

The ending was beyond perfect and I am so happy to see that a spinoff with Devon is planned... I originally wanted her to end up with Devon... he is so dreamy. I was upset about Andrew, but not for long.... which really surprised me ... but after finishing the whole trilogy, I believe Andrew is the best for her. )

I would recommend this to anyone who loves fantasy and romance combined.... splashed with humor and creative plot lines with twists and turns makes for a lot of fun!!! ) I was in the hospital reading the last book, and after I finished... I just started re-reading the whole trilogy... outloud to the person in the next bed. ) It was even more fun )
Well I have not had this happen in a long time. I loved this series and yet I want to change it. To me Andrew is a wimp and Devin is the real hero in the series. When I finished this book all I wanted to do was to go back and rewrite it my way LOL.

While the first book in the series seemed to be a bit light weight the premise was great. Each book has gotten better and more complex as more characters enter the story and as more world building occurs. The final ending is a lot weaker than I was expecting as all the new powers were added to the heros and heroines and I was really ready for a great action fight scene but it never really happened. Still the writing is excellent and the underlying story interesting which is why I gave it 4 stars. It would have gotten 5 but I think the author let her characters lose some of their strength towards the end and as I said earlier I would have preferred the real hero to get the girl (oops sorry for the spoiler).
I am so upset that this is the last book of a great series! This series offers all the interesting aspects of sci/fi that I personally LOVE to read! For anyone on the fence about purchasing the book or the series...without giving away too much I can tell you there is magic (one of my favorite features when I am deciding on a new series)& I mean separate groups, both alliesband enemies who posses different powers/strengths. This is also a love story along with tons of action and suspense. Even though I can envision so many different plot lines, as there are a variety of extremely diverse characters that would CONTINUE THIS SERIES, I am thankful that the story does continue for at least two characters. I haven't started the next series yet, but I'm hopeful the characters from "The Blue Eyes Trilogy " are included in the storyline!

Note to the Author I am a fan of this Trilogy and would absolutely LOVE to see where you imagine the story goes from where you left off! I did not want it to end!!!! In my opinion, you did an excellent job keeping me interested at all times and the background information on each character from book one to book three...basically I couldn't turn the pages fast enough! Which is why I wish you would return to this particular series and continue the journey!!!
